Postcard, selfmailer or letter: all three addressed products can be calculated online for 350 to 500,000 items, based on the number of valid recipients in your address list. Special personalisation and additional inserts are agreed separately.

Selfmailers
Folded and sealed for postal delivery, without envelopes: A5 on 130 or 170 gsm, B5 on 170 gsm or DL on 130 gsm. Page count and paper depend on the selected format.
Letters with flyers
With printing: a flat or folded flyer, a single-sided colour A4 cover letter on 90 gsm paper and a plain envelope. Addressing and inserting are included. Without printing, you supply both printed inserts.
Workflow for addressed campaigns
1. Define recipients and quantity
Define your recipients and campaign objective. Set the quantity to the number of valid Swiss delivery addresses in your own list.
2. Printing and preparation
Format, paper, volume and preparation are aligned with the planned dispatch process.
3. Plan date and dispatch mode
Choose a delivery date in the calculator. File approval, printing, product-specific preparation and postal handover are planned around that date. Normal and express mailing use different postage rates.
4. Check the price and request a PDF quote
Calculate the price and request a PDF quote by email. You do not need to upload your address list or finished print files for this first enquiry. Letters with printing include a flyer, cover letter and standard envelope. Extra inserts and specific personalisation are quoted separately. FlyerMail reviews each submitted order; submission does not yet authorise production.
Prepare your mailing list and print files
A mailing involves several production steps. A complete brief helps resolve questions and corrections before anything goes to print.
Prepare your own mailing list
Your list needs a complete Swiss delivery address for each recipient: name or company, street and house number, postcode and town. Check duplicate and incomplete entries. You do not need to reformat an existing list in advance; we agree the required file structure before production.
Set up personalised letters
The standard package includes addressing and the same cover letter for every recipient. Personal salutations, variable text and other recipient-specific content are agreed and priced separately. A sample then lets you check the layout before printing.
A4 remains A4
A flat A4 flyer is not automatically folded to fit C5. For a folded item, select a suitable folded flyer. The finished size affects both the envelope and the postage.
Plan printing, folding and envelope insertion
Choose the format, paper and with or without printing in the calculator. The letter package already includes a suitable plain envelope, addressing and inserting. With printing, we produce the flyer and cover letter; without printing, you supply both printed inserts. Only non-standard options need a separate agreement.
Agree personalisation in advance
For a personalised letter, prepare a sample and identify the variable fields. Send personal address data only after agreeing the format and transfer method; the print-file field does not validate address lists.
Allow time for approval and postal delivery
Include time for data preparation, corrections, printing and posting. The postal delivery period starts after handover to Swiss Post. For invitations or limited offers, also tell us the event or promotion date.

Can I use my own mailing list?
Yes. Postcards, selfmailers and letters use your list of complete Swiss delivery addresses. Supplying addresses is not included in the calculated price. Without an address list, choose unaddressed flyers by area and audience.

What is the minimum for B Mail bulk mailing?
Swiss Post offers B Mail bulk mail from 350 letters posted together, in the same price category and from the same sender. Format and timing also need to suit your campaign.
Can I request a quote without a finished print file?
Yes. You can send an enquiry without an attachment. Start with quantity, format, recipients and timing; print files and other documents can be agreed afterwards.
Will my A4 flyer be folded?
No. An unfolded A4 flyer stays flat and is calculated with a C4 envelope. A folded flyer is a separate product selection, for which the finished format applies.
